Hi Mrs.Bain! It's me Suzette Zerkle. I was the one who came to Promenade E.S to see all of my past teachers. I was so surprised to see you at my Winter concert for band. I was hoping to see you at the Spring concert because I did a solo and I played "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz on my clarinet. We also played Mama Mia, it was a great concert and if I may add, I had an Amazing year in fourth grade because I had the best teacher I could possibly have. I really miss Promenade and I especially miss you Mrs. Bain. You tought me everything that was on the C.S.T's for the English test. I hope you can come to the next concert in.....possibly March or December. I will be doing another solo.

The Best Teacher Ever

Mrs Bain is the best teacher i ever had she lets me and my friend areeb do jobs when we are done with are work.Mrs Bain also is nice.But for a little while a student teacher named mrs rogers was teaching us.It was sad that she had to leave.

My great year with 4th grade

School is almost over happy and sad because i am moving to a new school :[.          When I'm on summer vacation I'll probally start playing megaman V and VI. my birthday is in summer and I plan to get the supaboy the FC-16 GO was good but the super boy has better av input and a variety of controllers for it like the super advantage and more.My favorite part of the year was the field trip to promenade park I got hurt but got better later on.I've met many friends this year and 25% of them were fifth graders.I feel angry because at my old school I'd be in middle school not elmentary also in third grade they have a picnic.Mrs.Bain was the best teacher I had . enjoy you're summer vacation .              by Retro X      p.s curse you mrs bain

Super Summer

                   
             School is almost over and you know what that means summer is around the corner!!  Sadly, I am going to miss my little buddie. I am going to sleep in like never before 'good bye alarm.' We are going to stay up all night until we pass out. Also, its my birthday on the 11th so it is going to be awsome!!!! I am so exticed for 5th grade!! I loved  meeting new people and friends in my stupendous 4th grade class. I will miss you guys alot and miss Mrs. Rodgers!!!!

Year End May 2012

 Wow! We made it to the end of another great year! We learned some incredibly hard math (which I hope you will all be practicing this summer!)  We learned to divide using partial quotients and to multiply using the area model.  We learned about expressions, equations, and variables-Algebra!  The junior high teachers would be impressed.  We learned about probability and measurement and had a great time when our student teacher, Mrs. Rogers (and her super cool son, Gavin).  We learned to read better with prosidy and expression and plan to dazzle fans with our musical about the California Missions next week.  The field day at the park was awesome, even though we got some serious sun! Ouch!  The pizza and popsicles were yummy and "Duck, Duck,Sponge" and the relay races were super fun.  Everyone caught GOLD FEVER as we panned for gold.  I will definately miss this class.  You are a silly, funny, smart group of kids!  I had such a super time getting to know everyone!  Thanks for laughing at my silliness and putting up with moving your clips.  I am so proud of all of your hard work this year and can't wait to see you shine in 5th grade!  You will dazzle your teachers, making me so proud, proud, proud!  Thank you boys and girls for making ROOM 8 GREAT!!!!

Spring Break!

 What is everyone doing during this beautiful Spring break?  The weather has been fantastic.  I am going to a fancy resort hotel in Palm Springs with my family where I plan to lay around by the pool!  Mr. Bain voted to go hiking while we are there or maybe go to the Living Desert, too.  My whole family will be spending Easter day in Dana Point at my Aunt's house and there is going to be an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids (even the BIG kids!)  I can't wait!

Time to BOOGIE DOWN!

Hey Everyone! Go to the Sweetheart DISCO Dance this Friday from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  It's going to be a blast with DJ Mr. D spinning records and playing the best disco in town!  This is the funnest event of the year.  Dress in your finest or wear your coolest disco digs (I'll be grooooooovvvvvyyyyy!)
